description In an attempt to convey the literary world of Paul Auster (incidentally, one of my favourite modern writers) in music, I’ve allowed some ‘coincidences’ to happen and then let them speak for themselves. Most of the titles played here represent some kind of stroll, ranging from a proper walk to aimless wandering via a gentle stroll or actual flight. What emerges is ‘book music’ (just like film music); whatever it is that the words leave behind – traces left on mysterious inner worlds – has been transposed into sound.
