description After voluntarily 12 years without assumed leadership, Gilles Coronado returns with a proposal enriched by all his collaboratives, musical and extra-musical experiences today, so much in jazz, pop, rock, chanson, dance and even theater. This new project is very simply called Coronado. In this adventure it is important to develop a collective magma, a protean place of combinations generated by protagonists who are not accidentally chosen by chance.
Actually, the rhythmic scansion, pulsante, was for a long time at the heart of my reflections, in a natural and obvious attraction, and more than the heights of sounds, it is rather the sensations of time which passes, of its internal cutting, which resound particularly in me, specifies Coronado. Then, rather than to envisage it as a temporal prison, I begin to dream together with the other musicians to develop multiple, singular forms, wefts weaved together, about a collective sound state engendered by the absence of specific soloist.
The electronic contributions of some and others allow to parasite on the initial sounds of instruments, to reach a blurring, new material which makes what !
In the end "Au pire, un bien".
A strong music strong with energetic melodies carried by a big sound !
